Version Rewrite 0.2
Hi. I woke up and got back to work.
In this update, Mario has been added. Considering Mario was the last character I created for Dynasty Classic, this seems a bit off for me to do, but I thought ahead this time. Because his cape reflects projectiles, I wanted to get reflecting hitboxes out of the way so that I don't have to edit a bunch of stuff in the future. 5-head moment.
---GENERAL CHANGES---
- The currently available stage has been altered to mimic Final Destination. Additionally, the stage music is now, instead of a single song, a random selection of a 6 songs I consider to be quality. Whether they will stay in Dynasty in future updates depends on what I decide to do. Most of them will probably relegated to some extra menu.
The song list is:
> Chasing Gang's Need Speed - Armed Police Batriders
> Starfall Village [Name Entry] - Yousuke Yasui
> Plasma Boss Colress - Pokemon Black/White 2
> Gambit - Spiderman and the X-Men
> Title Screen/Credits - Time Trax (Genesis, 55hz)
> It's Going Down Now - Persona 3 Reload - The camera has been altered to be more zoomed out when more players are present. This should, hopefully, make it less disorienting to play with multiple people.
- Knockback has been altered so that it ends when launch momentum is nearly gone, not whatever the heck it used to be (people could originally jump the second they slightly slowed down after they were hit upwards).
- A "minimap" has been added that shows the players relative position to the stage. It will appear when someone goes offscreen.
- The menu has been made a lot cooler, even having it's own music to boot. I made it. Don't judge it. You will be banned. There are practical changes, too, as there is now a little icon to demonstrate each player's character and palette.
- Player colors have been altered. They are now (in player order): Pink, Burple (Not purple), Orange, Lime.
- The Game Icon has been changed. Looks cool, don't it?
---MARIO HIMSELF---
I created Mario with the intention of him being somewhere between Astro and Gunstar. You'll notice his move speed, fall speed, and weight is somewhat in between the two of them.
- Gravity, move speed, and weight have been altered.
- Fair has been given a light amount of invincibility (3 Frames) when it's powerful hitbox comes out. This gives it an advantage over
certain recovery options. - The voice-line selection has been altered to include more clips from Super Mario Galaxy.
- Nair now increases in general power the longer it is out (Similar to Melee-Doc's nair).
- The Jab-combo no longer requires timed button-presses, you simply need to hold the attack button.
- Down Smash does an extra 1.1% of base damage. It has an extra frame of startup.
- Up-Special now sends Mario higher. It's trajectory can also be altered by holding a horizontal direction.
- Moves in general have been made far faster.
- Fireballs now move slower and bounce a little less high.
- Other changes have been made that I have not noticed and/or forgotten. In general think "Oh, he's faster now".
The next character I add will probably be Burner Man. Will I make an actual menu in the following update? Find out next time on Dragonball Z.
Should the menu be heavily altered in the next update, though, I should note that the menu will look far different than it used to. Peace.
